Held periodically throughout the year, broker luncheons usually focus on one topic of interest such as a program NEIRP is developing or land development opportunities of interest to both parties. Public Official Briefings
In an effort to stay connected to our local communities, NEIRP hosts briefings for northeast Indiana mayors and commissioners at least once a year. These meetings provide the opportunity for these elected officials to stay informed on NEIRP activities as well as hear how they can be involved and keep their communities active. These briefings are also an avenue for feedback to NEIRP from the perspective of the elected officials.
In addition to these briefings, Northeast Indiana Regional Partnership CEO, John Sampson, often attends local council meetings to provide individual updates on NEIRP activities. Economic Development Coordinating Council
Regional and local economic development strategies and initiatives require close coordination between stakeholders to assure that the assets and resources of northeast Indiana are leveraged to grow wealth and foster a vibrant economy. The executives of key organizations with strong economic development missions and interests meet routinely to provide for consistent communication on strategic initiatives and build strong partnerships.
